Fourth of July Mini Sessions: Fun, Festive Photos for Your Kiddo

Happy Fourth of July, friends! This past weekend I hosted my Fourth of July mini sessions and the turnout was so awesome.

If you're looking for a fun way to celebrate our beautiful country while getting some awesome updated photos of your kiddo ready to party like it’s The Fourth, then keep reading for some inspiration! In this blog post, I'll be showcasing some of the photos from this year's mini-sessions.

The sessions took place in my studio in Torrance, California. The setup featured a stunning red white and blue balloon arch with gold twinkle lights and a few hanging decorative star garlands. The balloons were done by We Poppin’ balloons in Long Beach, CA.

I had such a blast photographing all of the kids in their patriotic outfits and capturing their fun personalities! It's always so amazing to see how each kiddo interacts with the camera and brings their own unique flair to the session.

I'm so grateful to have such wonderful clients who trust me to capture these precious memories for them!

I planned these sessions a few weeks ahead of the Fourth and gave my clients a few different options and suggestions for outfits and props.

I wanted to make sure that each family had the photos in time for the actual holiday so they could be shared with their loved ones, and that they had a blast celebrating the Fourth of July with me!

The items that my different families brought as props were all unique, but all worked perfectly. Even something as simple as a small little flag or a fun trucker hat can add some extra flare and make the images feel different and unique while browsing through the gallery of final edits! I always like to switch it up so that my clients get a wide range of photos — even if the sessions only last 15 minutes!

Well! That’s a wrap for my 2022 Fourth of July Festive Minis!

Thank you to everyone who participated in my Festive Fourth of July mini-sessions! I had so much fun photographing your families and capturing these memories that will last a lifetime. If you weren't able to make it this time, don't worry! I'll be announcing dates for my next round of mini-sessions very soon. Be sure to add yourself to my mailing list so that you can find out first when they're announced. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your summer!
