When clients ask if we can capture a full, dynamic gallery in just 20 minutes, the answer is always yes! The LAB Anti-Mall in Costa Mesa is one of my favorite locations for mini sessions because every corner tells a different story. With its mix of industrial, colorful, and natural elements, it’s perfect for families who love variety and personality in their photos.

We started against the sleek black wall — clean lines, moody texture, and an instant editorial feel. This simple backdrop let the family’s connection shine while giving their portraits a modern edge.

Just a few steps away, vibrant bougainvillea and tall greenery added softness and warmth. The contrast between the urban textures and lush plant life created such a beautiful balance — perfect for both playful and classic family portraits.
