Evolve Workshop 2021 in Pocatello, Idaho

Pocatello, Idaho | Evolve 2021

This past summer I traveled to Pocatello, Idaho for an incredible week of learning from and growing with an amazing group of talented photographers from Evolve Workshops.

If you are a photographer in need of true authentic connection, clarity, community, empowerment, and a constant reminder of the power within... Evolve Workshops are where you need to be, my friend.

Throughout this week we participated in several UNREAL styled and planned photoshoots. Three of my favorite sessions I am sharing with you today!

Styled Workshop #1 with Morgan

When the session starts with shots and moran you just know it’s going to be fire…

I actually no longer photograph weddings unless I am assisting another photographer, but when Morgan of In Frames Photography (Here is her Instagram Page) hosted a bridal shoot in the middle of the day, in a bar in Idaho, claiming “DOLLY PARTON INSPIRED” - I knew I had to be there!!

This shoot was was so much fun and pure magic to be a part of! Huge thank you to Morgan and Evolve Workshops for putting these sessions together.

Styled Workshop #2 With Morgan

This was another shoot Evolve Workshops organized with Morgan from In Frames Photography. These sessions were so much fun to be a part of! Everyone created absolute magic with this family - it was such a beautiful day, the weather was perfect, and this was my first time seeing white sheets be integrated into a styled shoot. How cool and creative is that?!

This particular family session actually inspired my Mothers Day mini-sessions the following Spring! I took the same concept with the sheets, but brought it to the beach this time! Check it out here.

Styled shoot with Jodi Lynn Buckles | Evolve Workshops 2021

The images below are from a session with the amazingly talented Jodi Lynn Buckles! I had so many favorites from this session I actually found it hard to decide which ones to share. Again, the Idaho weather did not disappoint and made for an amazing shoot with the golden sun working in our favor.

This getaway was the perfect reminder of the importance to continue education. I’ve been photographing for over ten years now, and one of my favorite parts of doing this for a living is that even after a decade I can still continue to learn new things from my fellow creatives while also fine-tuning my own skills and tricks. Evolve workshops are the perfect way to feel inspired by creating something new and different.

Photographing for fun always inspires me to come home and get extra creative. Needless to say, this week was exactly what I needed.
