9 Months In, 9 Months Out 🍔 A baby photoshoot that made us all crave In-N-Out
Every once in a while, a session comes along that is so fun, so unexpected, and so perfectly that baby that it instantly becomes one of those shoots you’ll never forget. This was one of those sessions.
To celebrate 9 months in the womb and 9 months out in the world, this sweet baby’s milestone session took place at none other than In-N-Out Burger—and honestly? Iconic.
From Bump to Burger 🍔
The concept was simple but genius: 9 months in, 9 months out. A playful nod to pregnancy cravings turned into a full-on burger celebration. Instead of cake or fruit, this little one went straight for a classic In-N-Out burger… and absolutely scarfed it.
Tiny hands. Big bites. Pure joy.
The result? Photos that were:
Fun and full of personality
Totally unique (no white backdrops here)
Equal parts hilarious and heart-melting
And yes… they made everyone involved very hungry
Why I Love Non-Traditional Milestone Sessions
Milestone sessions don’t have to look one specific way. While I love a classic studio setup, sessions like this are a reminder that the best photos often happen when we lean into who your baby already is—and what your family loves.
This shoot was:
Personal
Playful
True to the family’s vibe
A perfect snapshot of this stage of life
And let’s be real—how often do you get professional photos of your baby living their best fast-food life?
A Memory You’ll Never Forget
At 9 months, babies are expressive, curious, messy, and full of personality—and this session captured all of that and more. Years from now, these photos won’t just be cute… they’ll tell a story. A story about cravings, milestones, laughter, and a baby who knew exactly what they wanted.
If you’ve ever thought, “Is this idea too weird?”
This is your sign: it’s not.
Sometimes the most unexpected ideas turn into the most unforgettable images. 💛
Thinking about a milestone session that’s a little outside the box? I’m always here for the fun, the messy, and the moments that make you smile every time you look back.
